Eligibility for free tuition: Candidates must be a New York State resident, meet the program criteria, and complete a quick and easy application form. Free tuition is available on a first come, first serve basis.

We are pleased to offer 60 scholarships per year for 3 years to underemployed* NY adult learners for the following Creative Workforce of the Future Certificates:
- Front-End Website Development Certificate (remote)
- Predictive Analytics for Inventory and Marketing Certificate (in-person)
- Motion Graphics Certificate (remote)
- User Experience Design Certificate (remote)
- User Interface Design Certificate (remote)
As part of the State University of New York's (SUNY) Transformation Funding initiative, aimed at enhancing economic mobility for non-traditional, underemployed* adult learners, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is expanding workforce training opportunities in our Center for Continuing and Professional Studies unit's Creative Workforce of the Future program.
*As defined by NY State Department of Labor, underemployment refers to: individuals who are employed less than full-time; are employed in a position that is inadequate with respect to their skills and training; are employed who meet the definition of a low-income individual; who are employed, but whose current job’s earnings are less than the self-sufficiency wage rate or are not sufficient based on their training and experience or compared to their earnings from their previous employment; or who are employed in stopgap employment.
