Fumia Igarashi

Fumio Igarashi

Fumio, originally from Japan and China, is passionate about sustainable fashion and craftsmanship. In college, she founded a student organization that grew to 70 members, raising awareness of issues in the fashion industry and encouraging action. Later, she worked in branding at the beverage company Suntory, where she honed her ability to see the bigger market picture, analyze consumer insights, and develop effective strategies—while also being deeply inspired by the dedication of Japanese craftsmanship. Now, she is determined to pursue her passion for fashion. To gain a global perspective, Fumio is enrolled in the MPS Global Fashion Management program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she aims to build a strong foundation to become a bridge between East and West.
